Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
Long Island Printing is a trade name of Searles Graphics, Inc., located at 56 Old Dock Road, Yaphank, New York 11980. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit LongIslandPrinting.com, create an account, request a quote, upload artwork, order products or design services, approve proofs, or contact our team.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, organization, email address, telephone number, account details, billing and delivery addresses, order specifications, purchase history, tax-exemption documentation, artwork, photographs, design instructions, proof approvals, and communications with us. Files you upload may contain personal information about you or other people.
Payment information is submitted through the payment fields provided by our payment processor, such as Stripe. We receive payment confirmations and information needed to identify and administer the payment, such as transaction references, payment status, and limited payment-method details. If you choose an available saved-payment option, the processor may retain payment credentials for future authorized use. Do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive credentials through ordinary email, artwork files, or order comments.
Our website and service providers also receive technical information, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referring pages, timestamps, and information used to operate, secure, and understand the performance of the website.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide accounts, quotes, product customization, artwork review, design services, proofs, printing, finishing, shipping, local delivery, and pickup.
- Process payments, administer refunds, verify tax exemptions, maintain accounting records, and investigate payment disputes.
- Send order confirmations, proof requests, invoices, payment notices, pickup or shipment updates, and other service communications.
- Answer questions, resolve problems, and maintain order and approval records.
- Protect accounts, prevent fraud or misuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve website reliability and customer service.
- Send promotional communications where permitted, subject to your choices and applicable law.
- Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
3. Artwork and information about other people
Provide only the information and files reasonably needed for the requested work. If your artwork, mailing data, photographs, or other files identify someone else, you are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to share that material and have us use it for your order. Do not upload Social Security numbers, medical records, financial-account credentials, government identification documents, or other highly sensitive information unless we have specifically agreed in writing to an appropriate process.
We use customer files to provide and support the requested work and related business purposes described in this policy. Uploading a file does not by itself give us permission to feature it in public marketing.
4. When we share information
We share information as reasonably needed with providers that help us operate the website and fulfill orders. These include our storefront and hosting providers, payment processors, email and business-service providers, design and production partners, carriers, delivery providers, and professional advisers. For example, a production partner may receive print files and specifications, and a carrier may receive the recipient's address and contact information.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; to protect people, property, accounts, or legal rights; to investigate fraud or misuse; with your direction or consent; or as part of a proposed or completed business transfer, subject to appropriate handling of the information.
We do not sell or rent customer personal information for money. Providers processing information for their own services, including payment providers, may also describe their practices in their own privacy policies.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses cookies and similar technologies to support account sessions, shopping carts, preferences, security, and website operation. Website and infrastructure providers may also process technical information for performance and usage insights.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies can prevent sign-in, cart, customization, or checkout features from working correctly. This policy does not treat browser settings as a guarantee that every provider stops collecting all technical information.
6. Email and marketing choices
You can opt out of promotional email using the unsubscribe option in a marketing message or by contacting us through our contact form. We honor commercial-email opt-out requests within 10 business days. We may retain limited suppression information so we can continue honoring your choice.
Opting out of marketing does not stop messages needed to administer your account, quote, order, proof, payment, pickup, delivery, or a legal obligation. A purchase or an artwork approval does not require you to agree to optional marketing.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including fulfilling orders, supporting reorders, documenting approvals, maintaining accounting and tax records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and the applicable business or legal need.
We are not a permanent artwork-storage or archival service. Keep your own copies of files, proofs, and important order records. Information may remain in backups or records we must preserve after an account or file is no longer available through the storefront.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your account credentials and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
9. Your information and requests
You can review available account and address information by signing in. Contact us to request correction, access, or deletion of personal information, or to ask about our handling of it. Depending on where you live and applicable law, additional privacy rights may apply. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. We may retain information when required or permitted for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, transaction, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Send requests through our contact form. Include enough information to identify the relevant account or order, but do not submit sensitive identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate method.
10. Children
The website is intended for business and adult customers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Other websites and locations
Links to other websites and services are governed by those providers' policies. Our business operates in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when applicable law requires it.
